HIndi class update - 1/17/2015

We read the complete lesson on गुरुभक्त एकलव्य. We translated the sentences in English, and also reviewed/discussed meanings of new/difficult words introduced. The students were expected to write the translation on the print out. Kids enjoyed the story of Eklavya. They showed good reading and translation skills.

The lesson was longer, as a result there wasn't enough time to do any exercises based on the lesson.
For this week's homework, kids should review the story and meanings again, to answer following questions:

१. एकलव्य क्या सीखने के लिये उत्साही था?
२. एकलव्य ने गुरु द्रोणाचार्य की मूर्ति क्यों बनाई?
३. एकलव्य की कुशलता का एक उदाहरण(example) दीजिये.
४. एकलव्य में कौनसे गुण(virtues) थे? आपको कौनसा गुण सबसे अच्छा लगा और क्यों?
५. नीचे दिये हुए शब्दों के स्त्रीलिंग रूप लिखिये:
 बालक, कुत्‍ता, चाचा, पुत्र, युवक, नाना 

We will discuss the answers in class next week.
