Hari om parents!

Today the children were given a sheet with basic reading material for Hindi level 5.  Please have them retain this material for future class references.

Besides that we continued with plural form of words when they have a sound of aa and e in them.  The children were asked to make sentences of the plural form of the words covered in class as homework.

They were also given a task of making verbal sentences using main and hoon and also mujhe chahiye.

We will continue with a short prose lesson, some grammer and spoken hindi in the next class.

The plural form of the following words was given as hw for creating sentences:

कथा, माला, सेना, तोता, कला, लड़का, शीशा, कमरा, ताला, नाला, दरवाज़ा, पैसा

(PS:  I have included a couple words not given in class as well).

Hari Om!
With Gurudev's blessing we had our second Hindi class.

We had a basic Akshar test followed by barakahdi for a couple akshar.

We covered Vachan and the rule for words ending with the sound of a on what the plural form should be.  We will cover some basic reading next class along with further rules on bahuvachan for words ending in aa ki matra.

Please revise what was covered.  The students have been asked to make sentences of the 7 shabd that are in bachuvachan form.

Please make sure that students get a notebook, pencils and eraser for the class.

I have created a google group for the class and will share google docs with the group that they will be required to bring to class.
