हरी ओम!

We covered the rules for determining the लिंग of both living and non living things.  For living things the लिंग (gender) is determined based on the type of person being addressed.  For non living things (निर्जीव) the rules have been given to the children in their books.  Please have them review the same.  We did an excercise in class to guage the understanding of the children.  Please have them review these rules in class so that we can proceed.

There will be a midterm test on 12/13.  The test will cover pronouns, ekvachan and bahuvachan,  लिंग, the chapters on baagh and bhalu.

The homework for this week is as follows:

क्या होता अगर:

१)  भालू शेर के बच्चे को न पकड़ता?
२)  शेर का बच्चा नौ दो ग्यारह नहीं होता?
and

३)  भालू ने क्यों कहा - ओह किस आफत में आ फसा?

Optional:  Please write 5 sentences on:
मैं ने थैंक्सगिविंग की चुटियैं कैसे मनाई?

For the break please write 20 new hindi words you learnt on flash cards with their meanings.  This is due in January 2015.  After the winter break.

Have a great thanksgiving holiday.  There is no Bala Vihar or Hindi class next week.  See you all on 12/7/2014.

Best regards,

Manisha / Priya
