हरी ओम!
ओपन हाउस को आने के लिया आप सुब का बहुत धन्यवाद !
We enjoyed meeting each and every one of you and your ideas and suggestions are always welcome. Both Priya and I will strive hard to live up to your expectations, but since we have children ranging from 6th thru 9th grades both Hindi and non-Hindi speaking students our lessons will be adjusted based on how children understand the various aspects of grammer / prose / poetry lessons.
This week we covered how the possessive pronouns should agree with the gender of the thing they are possessing. The following phrases were given to the children to construct sentences with as homework:
मेरा घर (Ghar here is masculine), मेरी किताब (kitab is feminine), उसके आलू (his potatoes),
तुम्हारी बहन (your sister), हमारे समोसे (our samose), आपका बेटा (your son), उसके केले (his bananas), उसकी साड़ी (her saree), & मेरी चीज़े ( my things)
Please make sure the sentences are meaningful.
For सर्वनाम the grammatical pattern of Hindi is similar to that of English. Most important to remember is during sentence construction the following will appear together in most cases:
मैं ..... हूँ (AM)
वह ..... है (IS)
तुम .... हो (ARE)
हम ..... हैं (ARE)
आप ..... हैं (ARE)
वे ..... हैं (ARE)
Children made sentences using the above in class.
Optional HW: Please write 5 sentences on how you celebrated Diwali.
आपने दिवाली कैसे मनाई? ( ५ वाक्य लिखिए )
There is no Bal Vihar / Hindi class next week. Will see you all on 11/1/2014.
आप सबको दिवाली की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं !
